PointsBet Casino's Grand Debut!

PointsBet Casino is now live in West Virginia after joining the market in late January. It enters the Mountain State as the sixth WV online casino and the second under a license from the retail Hollywood Casino in Charles Town.

Residents in the state now have another great option when looking to play and win money on the most popular casino games.

Many are already familiar with the operator. PointsBet Sportsbook WV launched in August 2021, also thanks to its partnership with Hollywood.

The company originates from Australia and is seeing success within the US. Like a lot of other legal betting operators, PointsBet continues to expand into more states.

Its online casino is now also available in New Jersey and Michigan, with Pennsylvania on the way, too.

WV bettors can download PointsBet Casino today for both Apple and Android devices.

PointsBet Casino debuts in WV

There is no such thing as having too many good options when it comes to online casinos. Those in WV have plenty of great platforms, and now another in PointsBet.

It will eventually feature everyone’s favorite casino games, like blackjack, roulette, baccarat, video poker and a variety of slots. PointsBet also includes several live dealer options for bettors who enjoy the casino experience while wagering online.

Unfortunately, not all of those games are listed on the WV casino site quite yet. Unlike sportsbooks, legal online casinos don’t initially roll out their entire game libraries that are offered in other states.

For anyone concerned, the list of games at PointsBet will certainly grow and be enhanced in the coming weeks.

Right now, table games consist only of Mississippi Stud, Multihand Blackjack and Ultimate Texas Hold’Em.

At the moment, there are 14 different slots titles. They include the following:

  • 88 Fortunes
  • Bonanza
  • Hypernova Megaways
  • Chicken Fox
  • Extra Chilli

As with every other part of the online casino, the slots portion should improve exponentially. The PointsBet in Michigan shows 47 slots variations.

PointsBet Casino welcome offer

One other aspect of PointsBet Casino WV that is currently missing is a welcome offer for new users who sign up.

Typically, the majority of major online sportsbooks and casinos provide some type of bonus for everyone who creates an account with them. At this point, WV bettors don’t have access to a deal like that.

While this is certainly a little odd, we fully expect PointsBet to release one shortly.

One reason bettors shouldn’t worry and might want to wait for this new-user promo is that PointsBet Sportsbook has one of the best promos available in the WV market, handing out a total of $2,000 worth of risk-free bets for signing up.

Casino bettors shouldn’t expect to see that much money for an initial bonus, but they will get something.

In other markets, PointsBet Casino allows you to bet completely free of risk, up to $300. This means that the operator will refund your account for any net losses on your first day of gambling in full, up to $300.

A day consists of your first 24 hours using the platform after creating an account.

This could very well be the same offer WV bettors eventually will receive, but we won’t know until that becomes official.

Once PointsBet does release a welcome bonus within the state, we’ll update this article, as well as its casino review.
