Hacksaw Gaming has partnered with William Hill

West Virginians are still awaiting the arrival of Hacksaw Gaming in the state’s online gambling lineup. The Malta-based company is partnering with Las Vegas’ Light & Wonder to make West Virginia Hacksaw’s first move into the US gaming market.

Now, Hacksaw has partnered with British sports betting and gaming company William Hill. The two companies have already worked together to roll out an exclusive version of the popular game Mines. They are planning to offer new games in the future.

Hacksaw expanding into the growing US market

There are currently seven West Virginia online casinos available to players. Hacksaw will become the eighth online casino app in the Mountain State after the West Virginia Lottery gave the company a license to operate last November.

Hacksaw is looking to bring more than 120 games to the US market, beginning in West Virginia. The company had expected to launch in the first quarter of 2023, but it has still yet to go live in West Virginia.

The company has over 250 partners and is in over 20 licensed gaming markets so far. This includes the UK, Italy, Ontario, and Spain, just to name a few.

According to play-wv.com, February was a record-setting month for online casinos in the state. Operators took in $367.6 million in bets and paid out $355.2 million for around $12.4 million in profitYear over year, it was an increase of 65.6% in betting handle and a 55% increase in revenue.

Partnership will open up more games to West Virginians

William Hill began nearly 90 years ago in Britain. A subsidiary of 888 Holdings, Caesars Entertainment bought William Hill in 2021. Its products include sports betting, along with online casinos, poker, and bingo.

Players currently playing on William Hill’s gaming platforms will have access to Hacksaw’s extensive offering of games.

For players in West Virginia, this means access to games such as its flagship Dead or a Wild, as well as Dare2Win and Scratchcard.

In the US alone, William Hill operates in the majority of states with legalized online gambling. Its largest operation is in Nevada. It runs 113 racebooks and sportsbooks with the state’s leading mobile sports betting app.

Promotions and sign-up bonuses await West Virginia players

With a new online casino and gaming partnership on the horizon, gamblers in West Virginia can look forward to some exciting promotions and new games.

While no promotions have been formally announced, it is customary for gaming companies to attract new customers by offering online bonuses. Players can likely expect new sign-up bonuses as well as top-up bonuses in an effort to give everyone the chance to try out Hacksaw’s new games.

New version of popular game Mines to launch

One of the projects to come from the partnership between Hacksaw and William Hill is a new version of the popular Mines game. This will be available soon with exclusive and bold branding.

The game can be resized for optimal gameplay by the user for an arcade-like feel. Players will need to uncover diamond symbols while dodging bomb symbols, with each diamond signifying an increase in payout.

This release will be part of a three-part game series between the two companies following the success of the Boxes and Coins games.
